From an early age, Gina experienced an uncommon expanded awareness that extended beyond the visible and would go on to shape the course of her life. She embraced her sensitivity and in her early twenties, while living in San Francisco, Gina encountered Tarot for the first time.
The recognition was immediate. To her great joy, what she found was a complete system, one that offered depth, structure, powerful symbolism and a way to interpret her rich intuitive world. She bought her first deck from a small crystal shop and the adventure which has now spanned more than three decades, began.
A channel of insight and light.
Tarot became Gina’s constant companion. She immersed herself in formal study while continuing to read intuitively for friends and family and grew a steadfast appreciation for Tarot and its capacity to illuminate truth with remarkable precision.
Those around her came to recognise a distinct quality in her readings: an ability to articulate what felt both deeply personal and undeniably accurate. Again and again, she witnessed how insight, when offered with care, could shift a person’s understanding of themselves and, in turn, the direction of their life.
Alongside this unfolding intuitive path, Gina built an accomplished and demanding career in healthcare. Beginning as a critical care nurse in the late 1990s, her natural leadership led her into senior clinical and operational roles, coordinating multidisciplinary teams of surgeons and care staff within leading teaching hospitals.
Driven by a desire to influence systems as well as individuals, she went on to complete both a Master’s and a PhD in Health Policy, becoming a respected voice in population health.
Throughout these years, Tarot remained a constant fascination and practice. She continued to read, to study and to deepen her relationship with the cards, building a collection of decks and a body of experience that reflected both devotion and discernment.
During the turbulent times of the Pandemic, Gina experienced a profound realisation: that the next chapter of her life was to be dedicated to the next level of helping people heal. The work she had been doing for decades, alongside her formal career, was now asking to come fully into the foreground.
And so Pure Tarot was born
